I would expect to possibly need a device driver for a SATA but a IDE frive. Wouldn't that driver be default to the installation disk as I'm sure SATA would be. I have never had to have a driver disk for a IDE drive. What makes Win Server 2008 different where it would have a driver for SATA but...

I'm trying to install Windows 2008 Enterprise. My system consists of 1 IDE drive and 5 SATA drives. I want to install the OS on the IDE drive because I have other uses for the SATA drives. Each time I start the install, the IDE drive isn't an option for install. All of the drives are listed...
